The official languages of New Zealand are English, Maori and NZ Sign Language. Don’t worry if you can’t speak Maori or NZ Sign Language though, we all mainly speak English. We’ve got none! No lions, no snakes and no drop bears. We do have a spider that bites but they’re so rare we actually thought they were extinct until they were rediscovered a little way back. So feel free to frolick in the bush with no shoes on, you’ll be fine. You also do not require any vaccinations etc when coming here. more
